Mission Statement
Our mission is to work collaboratively with our members and others to promote an environmentally sustainable and progressive business climate for the log-harvest / supply sector in Central and Northern B.C.
The CILA shares a commitment to B.C.’s forests and to sustainable forestry, and believes the key to a healthy regional and provincial economy is a strong and progressive forest products industry.
The CILA, working with the three other logging associations in B.C., provides a strong, influential voice, regionally and provincially, on forestry and log-hauling legislation, regulations and policies that affect independent logger, log-hauler and supplier members.
With a focus on members’ concerns, the CILA represents its member’s interests vigorously with all levels of government, its agencies and the corporate sector, for regulatory and legislative changes that will benefit the log-harvest sector.
